Quality Improvement Initiatives

Approach

Table

With various changes in our lifestyle indicated by the technological innovation of ICT such as AI, cloud-based services and the SDGs, the products and services required by society have rapidly evolved and diversified in recent years. Expectations for ICT system development are changing to go beyond manufacturing to produce creative and valuable solutions.

As it grasps the significance of ongoing societal changes, DENTSU SOKEN aims to provide high-quality products and services to our business clients.

Quality Management

To ensure the quality of its products and services, DENTSU SOKEN attaches great importance to the strict operation of risk management, development process maintenance, and improving the ability to carry out projects through education. We have introduced the Review Board, a mechanism for ensuring quality, as well as i*yes, which is the DENTSU SOKEN standard development process.

Review Board (RB)

This board is designed to prevent project problems by strengthening project risk management. At major milestones from the start to finish of each project, a group of risk management experts from each department helps identify risks and consider remedial measures.

Project risks are reported to management from time to time and used to make management decisions to prevent problems.

Standards Development Process (i*yes)

This activity aims to standardize the project development process. For project management and software engineering, we establish and monitor processes and collect and provide case studies from within and outside the Company (deliverables created in actual projects). DENTSU SOKEN's standard development process, i*yes, was developed in accordance with CMMI1 and achieved CMMI level 3 in 2011. Furthermore, in 2019, we obtained ISO 90012 certification at the department in charge of public organizations within the Financial Industry Business Operations department.

  • 1.
Capability Maturity Model Integration. A model of the development process that is widely used throughout the world.
  • 2.
International standard for quality management systems.

Since then, we have continued to incorporate the latest activities from industry and academic institutions and in-house knowledge as needed to enhance quality improvement.

We will continue to pay attention to the latest technologies and industry trends with the aim of realizing further improvements.
