2. Business Strategies
In order to achieve the aforementioned targets, ISID is focusing on the medium-term management issues of "maintenance of sustainable growth" and "continuous improvement of profitability." Below ISID outlines the three core business strategies which it will pursue in relation to these issues with a view to continually improving the level of satisfaction among ISID's stakeholders.
[1] Selection and Concentration of Business Resources
ISID will focus its management resources on providing solutions for the financial and manufacturing industries, together with new business operations tailored to the broadband era. ISID will also undertake aggressive investment in product development with a view to fostering the company's core products.
[2] Promotion of Group Business
ISID will aggressively pursue capital alliances and joint ventures with a view to maintaining sustainable growth by supplementing the company's business resources and improving management efficiency. In order to provide ISID's corporate clients with total solutions, ISID will work to acquire leading-edge information technology, strengthen its consulting and marketing capabilities, expand its business domain, and expand its technical staff. ISID will give highest priority to capital alliances and investments that enable the company and its partners to fully exploit business synergy effects.
[3] Focus on E-Business
"E"-business refers to the process by which traditional firms use the Internet and other IT developments to reform their business processes and develop new business models. E-business needs are likely to continue to grow in terms of scale, speed, and diversity. ISID has formulated the "e3" (e-cubic) solution concept, which combines business strategy planning (e-strategy), system construction (e-technology), and marketing know-how (e-marketing). Based on this concept, ISID will work to provide optimal solutions by exploiting its strengths in the following areas.
- Construction of large-scale mission critical systems
- Construction of systems based on leading-edge Internet technology
- ISID's neutrality as an independent firm
- Global support framework
- Business knowledge and know-how accumulated through a focus on specific areas
