Launch of I-DEAS Sales Campaign Aimed at MICRO CADAM Users

As of February 1, 2001, Information Services International - Dentsu, Ltd. (ISID, head office in Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Jutaro Takinami, President and CEO; ¥8,180.5 million in capital) will begin selling its new specially priced package aimed at MICRO CADAM users. The new package bundles together the I-DEAS CAD Module and Data Translator from SDRC (Structural Dynamics Research Corporation) of the US.

ISID also plans to offer each customer purchasing this package a startup plan (under a separate contract for value) for adopting and using 3-D design software. Under this plan, customers are provided with the support they need to make a smooth transition from 2-D design to 3-D design. The plan will supply consulting services that are tailored to the individual client's needs and circumstances so that the problems of upgrading from 2-D CAD to 3-D CAD, such as design process modification and CAD engineer education, can be dealt with quickly and effectively.
